OK, I've been so bad at blogging. Not sure why I haven't been able to get in the habit. But I'm going to really try. I know, you've heard that before. Seriously, I'm going to try.
So, what have I been up to? You name it! As of 1/28/2009, I am working My Simple Indulgence and Boutique Designed....FULL TIME! You may be asking, what is she rambling about. Well, before I opened My Simple Indulgence I worked Full time for a company called AccordHR, based out of OKC, Oklahoma. One year later I opened the brick & mortar store but continued to work Part Time for AccordHR. So, needless to say, I was quite busy. I never felt I was giving my business my all because I was splitting my time. Just think about it. For AccordHR, I was working 20hrs a week but from November till January I could work 30hrs or more because of Open Enrollment. You know, OE. When employees elect their health and benefits coverage for the upcoming year. I would have to go out and visit my clients and hold OE meetings and sign ups during my businesses busiest time of the year! Plus don't forget I have a family, which includes 3 girls who all have some sort of extracurricular activity, a hubby, 1 dog, a home (that needs cleaning), extended family and friends. And some where I had to find some time for me. LOL
Anyway, now I'm focused on posting all those wonderful new designs to my online website and all the other To-Do I haven't had time to do.
Oh, did I mention Boutique Designed? What is Boutique Designed? Well, it's an online Affordable Web Design business I started in 2008. It all started when I was helping other site owners with problems they were experiencing with their online shop. I honestly don't remember who the first site was I did web maintenance for but I do remember the 2ND, 2Friends Ribbon Gifts. Cute shop and I love Karin! She is such a joy to work with. My next site was Three Sweet Peas, a resale shop located in Loganville. Then my first web design after re-designing My Simple Indulgence and creating Boutique Designed was The Willow Tree, also located in Loganville. Since then I have designed several more sites you can find in my portfolio.
Okay. I think that is all I have for today. Wow. This post is long! Guess I don't have too much trouble blogging.
